Overview

SIMATIC IPC477E PRO

The fully enclosed IP65-protected SIMATIC IPC477E PRO in 15", 19" and 22" versions extends the portfolio of PRO devices.

The robust aluminum housing allows it to be used directly on the machine even in harsh environmental conditions. 
The operating unit can either be mounted on a pedestal or connected to a support arm system from above.

Application

The SIMATIC IPC477E is designed for use directly on the machine in tough environmental conditions, where the combination of ruggedness and maximum reliability is a major priority (the reliability of an embedded platform) and the openness of a PC is also required (e.g. connection of I/O devices such as printers, keyboards, etc.).

The compact and versatile SIMATIC IPC477E PRO operator panels can be integrated perfectly into many machines or production and automation systems. Thanks to the low-profile design, it can also be used in confined spaces.

The PC is used in both factory and process automation, as support-arm or pedestal-mounted versions.

The SIMATIC IPC477E PRO is the ideal platform for PC-based Automation:

  • PC-based visualization on site at the machine with SIMATIC WinCC Advanced or WinCC Professional
  • PC-based Control with SIMATIC Software Controllers
  • SIMATIC WinCC Client (standard or multi client) for distributed operator control and monitoring
  • SIMATIC WinCC as single-user station solution for centralized operator control and monitoring (also in combination with WinCC WebNavigator server)

The new SIMATIC IPC477E PRO is a compact device with a high-quality aluminum enclosure.
